Talaash

A platform to reconnect with your alumni and collaborate on career and business opportunities.

Welcome back to your alma mater community!

Talaash is a social network dedicated to reconnecting you with your school and college days. It brings together classmates and alumni from various institutions onto a single platform. Talaash goes beyond simple alumni connections by fostering a knowledgeable community where members can engage in prosperous activities like business collaboration, career advancement support, and help with higher education opportunities for fellow members. A Talaash user is anyone who has received an education from an accredited institution such as a school, college, university, or certified educational center.

The News Feed in Talaash

As a mobile app designed to connect friends who share an educational background, the News Feed provides consolidated updates from your alumni, batchmates, and close connections. It serves as the homepage for every Talaash user. This feed is free from ads, politically biased content, and hate-motivated messages. It only shows information posted by your batchmates or alumni, and similarly, you can post messages—like on any other social media—that are visible to your alumni and batchmates.

The Friend Zone in Talaash

The Friend Zone in Talaash allows you to reconnect with friends you may have lost touch with after your education. This section forms the app's foundation, providing the base for user communication across Talaash. When users register their alma mater, educational year, and level, they are classified as alumni and batch buddies to relevant users. Through personal connections and mutual acceptance, users can build their network from these groups. Talaash also enables users to bring their collective alumni together on one platform.

The Market Zone in Talaash

Version 3.0 of Talaash will feature a Market Zone section, allowing users to seek and offer products or services to other relevant users within Talaash. This enables every Talaash user—whether a business provider or a potential consumer—to find beneficiaries among their connections, alumni, batch buddies, and other users. Talaash aims to encourage more active, daily engagement between users beyond traditional alumni networking through the Market Zone.

The Career Zone in Talaash

Starting from version 3.0, a Career Zone section will be available for career aspirants within Talaash who are seeking a new job or a better opportunity. Based on a user’s current profession, they can identify alumni and other Talaash users in the same field to collaborate on career opportunities. Users will also be able to post or search for job openings.

Additionally, users can seek mentorship for higher education and research from relevant Talaash members. They can also request feedback from notable alumni or communicate with institutions regarding admissions for themselves or their family members.

Security and Privacy Terms

Talaash adheres to all necessary industry standards for user security and privacy. It uses multi-factor authentication for user registration and login, giving users greater control over profile access.

Furthermore, the user information collected by Talaash is limited to name, education, and professional details, aside from the multi-factor security channels. This approach prioritizes and safeguards user privacy to the fullest extent.
