The Guardians of the Road project has been revitalized with a new application that offers a more user-friendly and enhanced experience. By joining the Road Guard initiative, you can play a crucial role in saving lives on our roads.

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" project aims to boost awareness and serve as a deterrent for safe and cautious driving. As of January 1, 2023, the project is managed by the "Safe Path" association.

Anyone over the age of 18 can participate by downloading the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations. Using the app is straightforward and efficient: before you start driving, activate the app, and when you witness a traffic violation, engage the reporting feature. You can initiate a report in two ways: through a voice command or by pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then start recording and capturing the details of the offense.

These reports are sent to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer traffic controllers. Following review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the individual captured in the report, including a link to the video evidence of the violation. In cases where the offense poses a threat to life, the report is escalated to the police for further action.
