Want to become a real artist?

Surprise your friends by becoming an excellent artist just like that. Unleash your creativity with the Artist's Eye, a utility designed to help you draw or paint using a real pen or pencil on paper or canvas.

Choose a model picture, such as a photo, and as you draw, watch your artwork through your phone or tablet's camera. The model image will appear semi-transparent over your ongoing drawing, guiding you to accurately outline the contours, similar to how artists used the camera lucida obscura centuries ago (see more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida).

For the best experience, it's recommended to attach your phone to a support stand to keep it steady, freeing up both hands for your art.

This method is not cheating but a new way of working and learning. Be sure to WATCH THE VIDEO to understand how to use the app effectively. Reviews indicate that users who gave low ratings did not fully grasp the app's usage.

Hint: On newer Samsung and LG phones without a menu button, access the menu by long-pressing the task-switching button.
