Set in the year 2xxx, Earth is ravaged by a mysterious virus that scientists dub "zombie." This virus mutates humans, turning them into zombies of varying sizes and rendering them unconscious. These infected beings are drawn to noise and human blood, creating a dire situation for survivors.

As a player, you embody one of the survivors in this post-apocalyptic world. Your mission is to protect your cherished home and the last remaining survivors by constructing a multi-layered defensive base. By strategically placing defense towers, you can fortify your base and secure your sanctuary.

Each level begins with an 8x8 grid and a designated path that monsters will follow to reach their target. Your task is to use puzzle-piece-shaped wall fragments to craft a route that forces monsters through your defensive towers, ensuring their demise and the safety of your home.

Your home is positioned at specific spots in every level. You can place the puzzle pieces anywhere on the grid, but remember to leave at least one space open in each row to maintain the flow of the game.

Throughout the game, you'll face six waves of monsters per level. At the start, you can choose from two tower cards, which you'll place on the grid alongside the puzzle pieces before the level begins. After each wave, you'll have the opportunity to select additional cards. These include two types of tower cards and a stat card that boosts all your defensive towers, adding depth to your strategic planning.
