Transform your handwritten chess score sheets into digital games with our scanner.

Digitize your games by scanning your score sheets.

The app extracts the text from your score sheet to reconstruct the game. An overview screen displays the original sheet alongside the generated moves. You can easily correct any recognition errors using intelligent move suggestions.

Once digitized, you can organize the game in a tournament, analyze it on Lichess or Chess.com, or export it as a PGN file.

How to scan score sheets

You can capture score sheets using the built-in camera scanner or import images from your gallery. The system processes the image to read the moves directly.

You can specify separate sheets for the White and Black players—a useful feature for tournament organizers. The app considers both versions when generating the game. You can assign up to two sheets per player.

Generate Your Game

Generate the game immediately after scanning. Alternatively, you can manually position the move grid for more control.

Supported Chess Notations

- English: N/B/R/Q/K

- German: S/L/T/D/K

- Dutch: P/L/T/D/K

- Spanish / Italian: C/A/T/D/R

- French: C/F/T/D/R

- Portuguese: C/B/T/D/R

- Czech / Slovak: J/S/V/D/K

The app can also process other notations, but these rely on a model trained on supported languages, so recognition accuracy may vary.

Game Generation Process

Game generation occurs on our servers. Processing time depends on the score sheet’s legibility, game length, and your internet speed, typically taking 1 to 10 seconds.

Review the Generated Game

A detailed view shows the score sheet columns paired with the recognized moves. Each move is color-coded to show confidence level. Tap any move to jump to its chessboard position and see alternative suggestions.

Move Suggestions for Corrections

Quickly fix any misread moves using context-aware move suggestions. They are sorted by probability and can be filtered by piece type. After a correction, you can regenerate the game from the current move onward.

Dealing with Crossed-Out or Forgotten Moves

No problem :)

From the game overview, you can skip or insert moves as needed. Then, simply regenerate the game with your adjustments.

Game Data and Details

Enrich your games by adding player names, tournament info, and other details in the description field.

Overview & Game Filtering

View all your games in a master list. Filter them by tournament, round, or mark them as favorites. Use the search bar to find games by player name or description.

Exporting Games (*)

Export filtered games or individual games as PGN files. Customize the PGN output in settings to include data like tournament, round, and date.

Importing Games

Import additional games into the app by uploading PGN files.

Analyze Games (*)

Open games directly in Lichess or Chess.com for in-depth analysis.
