How to Get Wood, Minerals, and Crops in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
In *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, there are three primary methods to acquire resources for your Hideout:
- By completing quests
- By completing Contracts
- By looting chests
Quests and chests are straightforward ways to gather resources. Most side quests offer substantial rewards, while exploring restricted areas allows you to loot chests. When entering such areas or castles, use the L2 or LT button to scan your surroundings, revealing golden and white orbs that signify chests and other valuable caches.
Occasionally, you’ll encounter large resource caches that can be tagged for your scouts to pilfer later.
However, for the most efficient resource farming, focus on completing Contracts.
Completing Contracts
As you develop your base, you’ll unlock the ability to construct a Kakurega building within your Hideout. This addition not only increases your scout numbers but also unlocks optional quests known as Contracts. These Contracts are crucial for farming wood, minerals, crops, and even metal and silk, which are essential for upgrading your weapons and armor.
Navigate to the Kakurega building in your Hideout and interact with the small table inside to access your Contracts. Accept them and locate them on your map, marked by a katana icon. Completing these quests will yield a significant amount of resources, making them invaluable for major Hideout upgrades.
