Remedy Entertainment expressed gratitude to its fans, marking the game's near one-year anniversary. This free update significantly expands accessibility options. New features include infinite ammo, one-hit kills, and inverted horizontal axis controls. PS5 players will also experience enhanced DualSense functionality, with haptic feedback integrated into healing and throwable items.
The update also incorporates numerous quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback. Remedy highlighted their ongoing commitment to Alan Wake 2's development, stating that work continued even after the initial release. These improvements are bundled into the Anniversary Update, timed to coincide with the game's launch anniversary.
