How does the RTX 4090 stack up against current cards?

The RTX 4090 stands as the top-performing GPU in the RTX 40 series. When compared to the new Blackwell cards, only the RTX 5090, with its $2,000 MSRP, surpasses it in performance. This card excels in running every game at 4K resolution, easily achieving 60+ fps with all settings maxed out and ray tracing enabled, especially with DLSS support.
