In Dragon Soul, the Great Ape form isn't the most challenging level-wise, but it's undeniably the coolest and most prestigious transformation. This guide will help you obtain the Great Ape form quickly and relatively easily.

The quickest route? Open your wallet and spend 12,000 Robux for an instant purchase from the in-game store. However, shelling out that much Robux feels a bit excessive, especially for those of us who prefer a bit more challenge (and saving our hard-earned cash).
Once you hit level 900, head to the Ape Wastelands to acquire the Saiyan Tail. This involves battling the Great Ape—but be warned: the drop rate for the Saiyan Tail is a mere 1%. Prepare for numerous encounters.
Access the Ape Wastelands by flying to the northwestern part of the island (it's a barren wasteland, easy to spot) or by teleporting there for a small fee.
The images below show the Ape Wasteland plateau where the Great Ape spawns. Spawning takes an hour, or you can pay 5 Robux to an NPC near a book to expedite the process.
The location is hard to miss, a short flight north from the teleport location. Remember, the Great Ape is a world boss; you need to inflict at least 100,000 damage to have a chance at the item drop.
After obtaining the Saiyan Tail, you'll face Vegeta. Defeat him a grueling 30 times! Each subsequent Vegeta is tougher than the last, and you can only attempt this battle once every 12 hours. That's 15 days of repeated battles!
Victory over Vegeta finally grants you the Great Ape form—an incredibly fun and addictive power. However, be aware of limitations: only one Great Ape can exist at a time, server hopping may be necessary, and the game's inherent bugs can make controlling the Great Ape challenging, especially with lag.
Despite these challenges, the Great Ape form remains the most epic achievement in Dragon Soul. Before embarking on your quest, check out our Dragon Soul codes for helpful boosts to get you started.
