Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features

Get ready for an enhanced Arknights: Endfield experience! A new beta test is launching this January, boasting significant improvements and additions based on previous feedback. This beta expands upon the previous iteration with new gameplay mechanics, characters, and more.

Expanded Roster and Gameplay Enhancements

As announced by Niche Gamer on December 25, 2024, the mid-January beta test will feature 15 playable characters, including two Endministrators, each showcasing updated models, animations, and special effects. Players will also enjoy the choice of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.

Sign-ups opened December 14, 2024. Key gameplay improvements include refined combat, a new dodge mechanic, and enhanced combo skills. Character progression and item usage have also been adjusted for a more rewarding experience.

Base Building and Story Enhancements

The base building system receives a major overhaul with new mechanics and tutorial levels. Expect new defensive structures and the ability to construct and expand factories via outposts. A revised storyline, new maps, and challenging puzzles further enrich the gameplay.

While registration is currently open, the beta test start date and recruitment deadline remain unannounced. Selected participants will receive an email notification from GRYPHLINE, including installation instructions.

Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1

Launched concurrently with the beta test announcement on December 14, 2024, the Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1 is now accepting applications. Selected creators gain access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events.

The program has two categories: Gameplay Insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and Fan Creations (memes, fanart, cosplays, etc.). Both categories share the same eligibility requirements, including original content, proof of account ownership, and links to previous work.

While meeting the requirements increases your chances, selection isn't guaranteed. The application period runs from December 15, 2024, to December 29, 2024.
