Baldur’s Gate 3 Dev Larian Wants Your Help Testing Patch 8

Larian Studios announced a January launch for the Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 stress test, accessible via Steam on PC and consoles (Xbox and PlayStation). Mac and GOG users will not have access. Registration is currently open.

Larian aims for thorough testing to identify and address any instability or gameplay issues before the official release. Crossplay functionality is a key focus of the stress test, described as a significant undertaking. Players are encouraged to participate and report findings, either by inviting friends or joining groups via the Larian Studios Discord server.

Patch 8 marks the final major update for Baldur's Gate 3, but Larian commits to ongoing support for modders. Significant future updates are planned, enhancing modding capabilities and enabling players to create their own narratives. Since the September release of official mod tools, the community has already downloaded over 70 million modules and uploaded over 3,000 mods.
