NCSOFT has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer MOBA, Battle Crush, a surprising move considering the game never reached its fully polished launch. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access release in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush EOS Date
The game's servers will officially shut down on November 29th, 2024. The in-game shop has already ceased operations. However, players who made in-app purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.
Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Ensure you download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
Battle Crush's official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media accounts and the Discord server will be deactivated on January 31st, 2025.
Was the EOS Announcement Surprising?
The sudden shutdown is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While the game offered enjoyable moments, it faced challenges with gameplay execution. Some players reported clunky controls and pacing issues. Ultimately, Battle Crush fell short of its potential, leading to this unfortunate decision.
You can still experience Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before its complete shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our next article covering the story-driven quests of the Autumn Season in Black Desert Mobile.
