What Can You Do After You Finish Assassin’s Creed Shadows? Answered

After completing the main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the game remains open for you to explore. The vast world of Feudal Japan is filled with side content that you can continue to enjoy. Completing the main quest does not restrict access to any of this content, allowing you to delve deeper into the world and uncover all it has to offer.

Additionally, post-launch, new weekly challenges will be added through the Animus, ensuring that even after achieving 100% completion, there’s always something new to engage with in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained

Even after the credits roll, your journey in Assassin’s Creed Shadows may not be over. In my playthrough, the credits appeared after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for Yasuke and Naoe. However, to unlock the epilogue and the true ending, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro. After that, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko. This will lead you to the complete ending and unlock the associated achievements.

Towards the end of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you can also earn exclusive gear sets themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke. These sets come with unique perks that enhance each protagonist’s play style and are sure to delight fans of the Assassin’s Creed series with their nostalgic designs.

Even after the credits roll, you can continue to level up and reach the game’s maximum level cap, providing ample endgame content to keep you engaged.

What’s Next For Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

While the main story of Assassin’s Creed Shadows concludes at launch, there’s much more to anticipate. New content will be added through the Animus, and the in-game store is expected to receive updates with new items. Additionally, a story expansion titled The Claws of Awaji is set to release in 2025, taking players to the Island of Awaji for over 10 hours of additional content.
