If you're a fan of Pokémon GO, you're in for a treat with a series of exciting events, including the highly anticipated Catch Mastery event. The game is currently buzzing with the Festival of Colors and the Might and Mastery events, with the Catch Mastery event being a thrilling component of the latter.
Catch Mastery Brings the First Birdie for Pokémon GO!
Mark your calendars for the Catch Mastery event on March 16th, running from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. This event spotlights Archen, the First Bird Pokémon. You'll encounter wild spawns of Omanyte and Kabuto, and there's a chance you might even stumble upon their Shiny versions.
Archen will also be available as a Field Research reward, with an enhanced chance of encountering its Shiny form. To sweeten the deal, the event offers fantastic XP bonuses, doubling your XP for Nice Throws or better, and for Curveball Throws.
Don't miss out on the Timed Research associated with the event, which challenges you to catch Rock-type Pokémon. If you're up for it, you can tackle up to 10 sets of tasks, leading to a whopping 40 encounters with Archen.
The Mega Absol Raid Day Is Also Happening Soon
Get ready for the Mega Absol Raid Day on March 23rd, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Absol will debut a new Charged Attack, Brutal Swing, which it will retain permanently after the event. This move packs a punch with 55 power in Trainer Battles and an impressive 65 power in gyms and raids.
From March 22nd at 5:00 p.m. PDT to March 23rd at 8:00 p.m. PDT, the Remote Raid Pass limit will be temporarily bumped up to 20. Plus, you'll have the chance to snag up to five additional free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs, allowing for a total of six passes for the day.
If you haven't yet, make sure to download Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store and dive into the action.
