A newly discovered Warzone glitch allows players to equip Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos on Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, detailed by Twitter user BSPGamin and highlighted by Dexerto, is considered a non-official method and is likely to be patched.
This glitch is particularly appealing because many players find the meta weapons in Warzone are primarily from BO6, rendering their hard-earned MW3 camos unusable. The process of unlocking mastery camos in BO6, including the coveted Dark Matter camo, is a significant undertaking. This glitch offers a solution for players who've already completed this grind in MW3.
Executing the Glitch (Requires a Friend):
- Start a private Warzone match.
- Equip a BO6 weapon in your first loadout slot.
- Join a friend's lobby.
- Equip an MW3 weapon in your first loadout slot.
- Rapidly select the desired MW3 camo while your friend switches the match to private.
- Your friend leaves the private match.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 while your friend rejoins the private match.
If successful, the MW3 camo should now be applied to the BO6 weapon.
While this glitch provides a temporary solution, Treyarch Studios has confirmed they are working on implementing an in-game challenge tracking system for BO6, a feature present in MW3 that was notably absent from BO6's initial release. This update should alleviate the frustration of tracking progress towards mastery camos. Until then, this workaround offers a way to utilize previously earned camos. Remember, this is an unofficial method and may cease to function with future updates.
