Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0 Global Launch Brings Clan Warfare and More!
The highly anticipated update 3.0 for Castle Duels: Tower Defense is here, marking the game's official global release following a soft launch in select regions this June. This update introduces exciting new features, challenges, and adventures for players worldwide.
What's New in Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0?
The biggest addition is undoubtedly the Clan system, enabling players to team up, trade units, share rewards, and purchase items from a dedicated clan store. Clan participation unlocks new strategic possibilities. Access to clans is granted upon reaching Arena 2.
For PvP enthusiasts, training battles offer a chance to hone skills before tackling the Clan Tournament. This tournament pits five-member clans against each other in a race to complete daily quests for top prizes. Participation requires reaching Arena 5.
Unit Overhauls and Name Changes
Several units have received significant updates, including name changes and ability adjustments:
- Raphael is now Angel, focusing on health restoration instead of damage boosts.
- Knight of Light is now Risen.
- Forestlord is now Woodbeard.
- Riding Hood is now a long-range damage dealer.
- The Golem's ability range has been reduced to better suit its melee role.
- Fighter has transitioned to a defensive role with a new opponent-repelling ability.
Several units, including Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire, have also received visual enhancements, particularly noticeable at higher merge levels.
