Civilization VII Free Updates
Firaxis will continue to release free updates based on player feedback, focusing on improving core gameplay. Initial updates will prioritize balance adjustments, bug fixes, and quality-of-life enhancements.
Future priorities include:
- Adding team functionality to multiplayer for cooperative play.
- Expanding multiplayer to 8 players across all ages, refining the Distant Land system.
- Giving players the option to choose their starting and ending ages for shorter or longer games.
- Introducing a wider variety of map types.
- Implementing hotseat multiplayer.
