Civilization VII: A Roadmap to Global Domination
Civilization VII's launch is imminent, bringing with it a wealth of new content and features. The initial DLC, "Crossroads of the World," arrives in two parts this March. The first installment introduces Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, along with the intriguing new leader, Ada Lovelace. Three weeks later, the second part adds Simon Bolivar as a leader and unveils Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations to conquer.

Further expansion is promised with "Right to Rule," a second DLC scheduled for release in Q2 or Q3 2025 (April-September). This expansion will include two additional leaders, four new civilizations, and fresh natural wonders to discover and exploit.
March also sees the addition of new in-game events and natural wonders, including the iconic Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest, enhancing the strategic depth and replayability.
Firaxis assures players of ongoing enhancements, promising new challenges and events to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging. Civilization VII will be available across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Deluxe and Founders Edition owners enjoy a five-day early access period, starting February 6th. A day-one patch will also be released alongside the game's official launch on February 11th.
Firaxis Games and 2K have declared Civilization VII a "gold standard," signifying the completion of primary development and confirming the game's impending release, barring unforeseen circumstances. Steam Deck compatibility is also confirmed, ensuring a broad player base can experience this latest iteration of the acclaimed 4X strategy series.
