This will help you return to the location and switch characters if needed.

Once at the Ominesanji Temple, talk to Gyoji again. He will inform you about the four one-on-one duels you must complete before facing the ultimate champion. After the cutscene, ring the bell to start the first fight.

How to Complete The Tournament in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Tournament is a series of intense, life-or-death duels. You can take breaks between fights, so make sure to heal using rations and upgrade your weapons and armor as needed. To beat each opponent, we recommend using a long katana with Yasuke, focusing on dodging and parrying to exploit their vulnerable states. Utilize abilities like Power Dash and Payback when you have enough adrenaline.

Knowing your opponents' weapons can give you an edge. Here are the fighters you'll face:

• Lady Masago uses a Naginata.
• Lord Suguru uses a Katana.
• Lord Hokuto uses a Kanabo.
• Lady O-Sen uses two Poison Katanas and throws ranged items.
