Levelling Up – In DC: Dark Legion, all champions, no matter their rarity, can level up to boost their base stats including Attack, Defense, and Health. To level up your champions, you can take them into battles where they'll earn experience. Alternatively, you can use EXP potions of various rarities to directly level them up. Levelling up not only enhances your champion's power level but also increases your overall account CP (Combat Power), which is crucial for your progress in the game.

Upgrading Star Count – Each champion in DC: Dark Legion™ starts with a base star count that determines their rarity. For instance, legendary champions begin at 5-stars. You can increase this star count by using shards of the same champion, which requires obtaining duplicate copies—a process that involves a bit of luck. This method can be costly and is generally not recommended for new, free-to-play players. However, upgrading star count is a powerful way to unlock new abilities and boost your hero's stats.

Gearing Up – Besides leveling up, you can enhance your heroes' performance by equipping them with powerful gear. In the early stages, you can acquire gear by clearing hideouts.
