Understanding Morale in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Army morale significantly impacts your officers' and troops' effectiveness and influences enemy behavior. High morale means your officers can more effectively defeat enemy officers and capture bases independently. Conversely, low morale weakens your forces, making it easier for the enemy to capture your bases and defeat your commanders.
Boosting Morale
Several actions increase morale, including:
- Defeating enemy commanders
- Capturing bases
- Achieving high kill counts (e.g., 100 soldiers)
- Winning duels
Conversely, these actions lower morale:
- Losing bases
- Commander deaths
- Losing duels
- Failing to counter enemy ambushes or Grand Tactics
Reversing Low Morale
Low morale doesn't guarantee defeat. Actively assist struggling allies using the minimap to locate them. Providing support typically boosts morale, and strategically aiding your allies across the battlefield will improve their fighting capabilities and overall army morale. Swift intervention is key when morale is dropping; help your allies before they fall!
