Netflix has unveiled the thrilling final trailer for Electric State, the upcoming sci-fi adventure from the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joe Russo (directors of Avengers: Endgame). The trailer introduces Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) as a determined young woman and Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) as a mysterious drifter.
Set in a post-apocalyptic America, ravaged by a technological collapse, Electric State follows the heroine's perilous journey across the American frontier in search of her missing brother. She's accompanied by a quirky, yellow robot companion, a touch of light in this dark, futuristic world. Their path leads them to a enigmatic drifter, whose secrets may hold the key to understanding their fractured reality. Inspired by the stunning graphic novels of Simon Stålenhag, the film promises a captivating blend of action and emotional depth.
Joining Brown and Pratt in this cinematic adventure are a stellar cast including Woody Harrelson (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Billy Bob Thornton (Goliath), and Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul). With a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (Avengers: Infinity War), Electric State is set to enthrall audiences when it premieres on Netflix March 14, 2025.
