Bandai Namco has started sending out emails to confirm participation in the closed testing of *Elden Ring: Nightreign*, scheduled from February 14 to February 17, 2025. Selected players will have the unique opportunity to be among the first to dive into the game, which is designed for a thrilling three-person cooperative mode.
Given the high anticipation for *Nightreign*, there's a surge in fraudulent activity with scammers circulating fake testing invitations. Some players have reported receiving emails that mimic official Bandai Namco communications, purportedly inviting them to participate in the testing phase. These deceptive emails often contain links directing to counterfeit websites resembling Steam.

Unsuspecting players who attempt to log into these fake sites risk losing access to their accounts. There have been reports of similar scam messages appearing to come from friends' accounts. Some affected individuals were able to recover their accounts by reaching out to Steam support.
It's crucial to exercise caution with any links received and to verify the authenticity of the source. When in doubt, it's safest to rely on official channels and avoid clicking on suspicious links.
In *Elden Ring: Nightreign*, players will no longer have the ability to leave messages within the game. Project director Junya Ishizaki explained this decision in an interview, stating that the approximately forty-minute duration of the *Nightreign* gaming sessions does not provide sufficient time for players to leave or check messages.
Due to the limited session length of about forty minutes, we've decided to disable the messaging feature to ensure a more focused and seamless gameplay experience.
