Fortnite Re-Releases Paradigm Skin By Accident, Lets Players Keep It Anyways

Fortnite enthusiasts were thrown into a whirlwind of excitement on August 6 when the highly sought-after Paradigm skin made an unexpected comeback in the game's item shop. This skin, which was initially released as a limited-time exclusive during Chapter 1 Season X, hadn't been available for purchase in over five years.

Players Can Keep the Loot

Fortnite quickly acknowledged that the skin's reappearance was due to a technical glitch and initially planned to remove it from players' Lockers, offering refunds in the process. However, following significant backlash from the community, the developers reversed their decision in a surprising move.

Just two hours after their first announcement, Fortnite took to Twitter to declare that players who had purchased the Paradigm skin could keep it. The tweet read, "Bought Paradigm tonight? You can keep her. Her accidental return to the Shop is on us... so if you purchased The Paradigm during this evening's rotation, you can keep this Outfit and we'll refund your V-Bucks soon-ish."

To honor those who originally bought the skin, Fortnite promised to create a unique, new variant exclusively for them, ensuring the exclusivity of the original purchase remains intact.
