Fortnite's Version 33.20: Godzilla Arrives!

Get ready for some monster mayhem! Fortnite's Version 33.20, launching January 14th, 2024, introduces the King of the Monsters himself: Godzilla!

This isn't just a skin; expect Godzilla to appear as a formidable NPC boss, potentially alongside King Kong. Battle Pass holders can unlock two Godzilla skins starting January 17th, featuring his powerful Evolved form from Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire.

This epic crossover follows a long line of guest characters in Fortnite, from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Wonder Woman. The addition of Godzilla fuels speculation about future Kaiju skins and solidifies Fortnite's status as a video game equivalent of the ultimate monster showdown.

Version 33.20, launching January 14th, will likely bring server downtime around 4 AM PT, 7 AM ET, and 12 PM GMT. Expect significant Monsterverse-themed content, hinted at in recent trailers showing Godzilla's destructive presence. A King Kong decal spotted in a trailer suggests Kong might also be a boss character, setting the stage for an epic clash of titans.
