Lenovo clarifies recent promotional image: No Halo 5 PC port. A recent Lenovo Legion Go S advertisement mistakenly depicted Halo 5: Guardians as coming to Steam. Lenovo has confirmed this was an error, a mockup design, not a leak.
This leaves Halo 5 as the only mainline Halo title absent from PC, a notable omission given the PC release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and the 2016 launch of the Halo 5 Forge editor for PC. While Microsoft's increased focus on PC gaming fuels speculation about a potential future release, currently, there's no official confirmation of a Halo 5 PC port.
Lenovo's swift denial, and the continued presence of the erroneous image on their website, strongly suggests the image was indeed a mistake. Although the possibility of a future PC port remains, for now, hopes for a Halo 5 PC release remain unconfirmed.
The future of the Halo franchise is also uncertain. While Halo Infinite continues to receive updates, fan demand for new entries is growing. Rumors of a Halo: Combat Evolved remake and a potential Master Chief Collection release on PlayStation are circulating, suggesting a potentially significant shift in the franchise's trajectory.
