NetEase's post-apocalyptic survival game, Once Human, has achieved a remarkable 230,000 peak concurrent players on Steam since its PC debut, securing a top 7 spot in sales and a top 5 position in most-played games. The game, slated for mobile release in September, has already announced exciting updates.
These include a PvP mode pitting the Mayflies and Rosetta factions against each other, and a challenging new PvE area in a northern mountain region teeming with fresh enemies. Set in a world ravaged by a catastrophic event with supernatural elements, Once Human is a highly anticipated title from NetEase.
Despite its successful PC launch, NetEase has surprisingly delayed the mobile release, still targeting September. The impressive Steam performance, however, positions Once Human as a strong contender.
