Approach from upwind for the best results. Downwind approaches will quickly alert the animal. Crosswind offers a moderate approach.

The AI's Behavior:

A question mark occasionally appears above the animal icon. Avoid moving while the question mark is visible, as this accelerates the meter's filling. Remain still until it disappears.

The Chase:

Be prepared to sprint once the animal flees. While AI animals are fast, sprinting should allow you to catch up. Their movement patterns are unpredictable, so practice is key. Open fields minimize obstacles and improve your chances.

Catching and Consuming:

Get extremely close to initiate a bite. Once you've secured your prey, drop and consume it. Repeat the hunting process until you're satisfied.
