What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?
This season introduces a snowy tundra habitat, complete with biting winds, deep snowdrifts, and a host of formidable monsters. Newcomers include Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites like Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos also make appearances. Tigrex will be a key opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by tackling urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Completing the prologue unlocks access to the tundra.
A powerful new weapon joins the arsenal: the Switch Axe. This versatile weapon offers the best of both worlds. Unleash devastating long-range attacks in Axe Mode, then seamlessly transition to Sword Mode for frenzied close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing Chapter 2's pre-season story.
Customize your very own Palico companion! These helpful allies assist in gathering materials and scouting monsters. Personalize their fur color, facial features, and even give them a unique name. AR functionality lets you bring your Palico into the real world for memorable photos.
Season 4 also introduces Friend Cheering, adding a collaborative element to the hunt. Send cheers to friends to provide them with a temporary health boost for the day (with a daily limit).
