In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the side quest "A Good Scrub" introduces you to a series of bathhouse-related tasks, culminating in the search for a flea-infested item for Betty. Here's how to navigate through this engaging questline and successfully complete the "Ill Repute" quest by finding the elusive flea-ridden item.

Initiating "A Good Scrub"

To start, you need to speak with Betty at her bathhouse in the southeast part of Kuttenberg. After discussing work with the innkeeper, approach Betty and mention that you heard she has work available. She'll task you with heading to Grund to find Matsek, who is reluctant to be seen with the girls he's supposed to escort to the bathhouse. You'll find him in a courtyard; interact with the three girls at a table, explain you're there for Betty, and escort them back to Kuttenberg.

Promoting the Bathhouse

Once the girls are safely at the bathhouse, Betty asks for your help in promoting it to attract more customers. You'll work on the promotional spiel with her and then shout it out at various locations in the city, including the grain market, horse market, vintners' street, and merchants' street. Ensure you do this during the day to maximize your reach.

Cleaning and Completing "A Good Scrub"

After the promotion, your next task is to clean the bathhouse before the alderman arrives for an inspection. Completing these tasks quickly is crucial, as failing to do so could result in the bathhouse being shut down, preventing you from picking up the subsequent quest, "Ill Repute."

The "Ill Repute" Quest and Finding Fleas

After passing the inspection, talk to Betty about the ongoing issues with the bathhouse. She'll mention that the city council is deciding on the main bathhouse, and you need to sabotage the competing bathhouse to make the councillor leave. To do this, gather information from Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida about the councillor's dislikes.

You'll need to add Chamomile Brew to the wine cask on the second floor of the competing bathhouse. To further sabotage, you might need to lockpick a cabinet on the third floor to steal fragrant oils, which you'll learn about from Lida after giving her a noblewomen's dress.

For the flea-infested item, Katcha mentions the bathhouse's past flea problem. To find this item, head to the east gate of Kuttenberg City, where you'll find a camp of beggars. Search the sacks there to locate a flea-infested blanket.

Once you have the fleas, return to the competing bathhouse and discreetly pour them into Councillor Naaz's laundry basket and the clean laundry basket in the same room where you added the Chamomile Brew.

If you struggle to find the flea-infested item, remember that completing just one of the three sabotage tasks is enough to make the councillor leave, allowing you to complete the "Ill Repute" quest and move on to other adventures like "Axe from the Lake."
