Get ready for more thrilling chaos in Among Us with the latest update introducing three new roles and a host of other exciting changes. Innersloth has truly outdone themselves with this one, so let's dive in and explore what's new!
What Are The New Roles in Among Us?
Among Us introduces the Tracker and Noisemaker for Crewmates, along with the Phantom for Impostors. As a Tracker, you gain the unique ability to monitor another crewmate's location on the map for a limited time. This feature is perfect for catching impostors who lie about their whereabouts, helping you keep your fellow crewmates safe—or at least give it a good shot.
The Noisemaker is another exciting Crewmate role. When a Noisemaker is eliminated by an impostor, they trigger a loud alert, akin to a siren, and a visual signal appears on the screen showing their location. This gives the rest of the crew a crucial chance to rush to the scene and potentially catch the impostor red-handed.
For Impostors, the Phantom role adds a new layer of stealth. With the ability to turn invisible after making a kill, Phantoms can slip away unnoticed, leaving crewmates puzzled and buying time for their next move. Remember, the invisibility is limited, so make every second count, Phantom!
In addition to these roles, Among Us has revamped the lobby interface. You can now easily view the room code, map details, the number of crewmates, and other game settings at a glance. If you've ever been stuck in a ladder animation during a Mushroom Mixup in The Fungle, that's been fixed now.
Shapeshifters will no longer be caught mid-transformation when meetings are called, and their timers are now working flawlessly. Plus, your pets, like the Desolation of Skeld, will now appear in the actual game. Don't miss out on the latest update of Among Us—check out a sneak peek of the new roles in the trailer below!
