How To Join the Baldur’s Gate 3 Stress Test & Try Crossplay

Crossplay is finally coming to Baldur's Gate 3! Patch 8, slated for release sometime in 2025, will introduce this highly anticipated feature. Before the full launch, Larian Studios is conducting a Patch 8 Stress Test in January 2025, giving select players early access to crossplay and other new features.

When Will Crossplay Arrive?

While a precise release date for Patch 8 remains unannounced, the January 2025 stress test will offer a sneak peek at crossplay functionality for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players. This test helps Larian identify and fix any potential bugs before the wider release.

How to Participate in the Stress Test:

To register for the Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 Stress Test and potentially experience crossplay early, simply complete Larian's Stress Test Registration form. You'll need a Larian account. The registration process is quick and easy, requiring only basic player information, including your preferred platform.

Selection is not guaranteed. Those chosen will receive an email with further instructions and access details. Participants will be able to provide feedback through dedicated forms and Discord channels.
