Netmarble's new idle RPG, The King of Fighters, featuring collectible characters, is currently in early access on Android, but only in Canada and Thailand. Players in these regions can start playing now and retain their progress upon the official launch.
Early Access Perks:
Early access grants access to Mature, an Orochi clan fighter with powerful area-of-effect skills. Iconic characters Iori and Leona, fan favorites from the original King of Fighters series, are also available.
The game blends nostalgia with modern gameplay. It retains the retro pixel art style reminiscent of the Neo Geo Pocket Color era, but with updated character designs. Battles are large-scale 5v5 team fights emphasizing strategic team composition. As an idle RPG, it offers numerous events with substantial rewards.
The King of Fighters, a fighting game franchise spanning over 15 titles since the 1990s, now enters the idle gaming market. Pre-registration is open on the Google Play Store.
Global Pre-Registration Bonuses:
Players outside Canada and Thailand can pre-register globally. Pre-registering unlocks 3,000 free draws and the Orochi-powered fighter, Vice. Iori and Leona are also free for pre-registrants.
