Netmarble's popular action RPG, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is set to conclude its run on October 30th, 2024. This announcement, made recently on the official Netmarble forums, marks the end of a more than six-year journey for the title. The in-game store has already been closed, effective June 26th, 2024.

Reasons for Closure Remain Unclear

While the game enjoyed significant success, boasting millions of downloads and positive player feedback praising its animations and PvP battles, the developers have offered only a hint regarding the closure. They suggested a potential shortage of fighters to adapt from the original King of Fighters series might be a factor.
