Konami Gearing Up for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater 2025 Release

Konami's developers have provided an update on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality game that meets fan expectations.

Okamura stated in a 4Gamer interview that the team is intensely focused on completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in 2025. While the game is currently playable from start to finish, the remaining development time will be dedicated to polishing details and enhancing overall quality.

Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but that timeline proved unrealistic. Sources within Konami now indicate a 2025 launch date for the remake, available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating updated gameplay mechanics and stunning modern visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura also hinted at new features designed to elevate the gameplay experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. This over two-minute trailer showcases key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, a thrilling airdrop sequence, and intense firefights.
