Konami celebrates the phenomenal success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, surpassing 2 million copies sold.

Released on October 8th, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam), the Bloober Team-developed remake achieved a million sales within days of launch, potentially setting a new record for fastest-selling Silent Hill title, though Konami is yet to officially confirm this.

Konami highlighted the game's critical acclaim, boasting numerous perfect scores and awards, solidifying its place as a classic horror game. IGN's review awarded it an 8/10, praising it as a superb revisit to a terrifying survival horror setting.
