This 8-inch powerhouse boasts an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. Its redesigned, lighter and more rounded chassis eliminates the removable controllers of its predecessor, resulting in a more comfortable grip. While the Windows version is available for pre-order now, a SteamOS version will launch in May at a lower price point.

IGN's Jacqueline Thomas, after experiencing the Legion Go S at CES 2025, noted its surprisingly comfortable ergonomics despite the larger screen. The smooth, rounded design and textured grips contribute to a secure and comfortable hold. She also praised the vibrant 1200p, 120Hz display, calling it "gorgeous" and easily visible even in bright environments.
