NetherRealm Studios has unveiled Madame Bo, a captivating new Kameo fighter joining the roster of Mortal Kombat 1. The latest trailer showcases her distinctive fighting style: she wields bottles as weapons, employs blinding tactics, and finishes opponents with a spectacular, tea-house-themed Fatality. The visuals are stunning and unforgettable.
Within the MK1 storyline, Madame Bo operates a tea house and serves as a mentor to Kung Lao and Raiden. She's the second Kameo fighter revealed for the upcoming DLC pack, following the previously announced T-1000 (a fully playable character).
A compelling fan theory suggests Madame Bo is actually Bo' Rai Cho, reimagined for this new timeline. This speculation stems from her name, fighting style, use of alcohol, and a shared penchant for less-than-healthy habits (in this case, smoking). Given Liu Kang's established habit of altering character identities in the game's narrative, this theory holds significant weight.
Madame Bo will be available to players who own the Kombat Pack 2 or Khaos Reigns starting March 18th. All other players can unlock her starting March 25th.
