Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman joined the Marvel Rivals fray this past weekend, kicking off Season 1 on January 10th. While Invisible Woman's reception has been generally positive, Mister Fantastic's unique abilities have sparked a wave of hilarious memes.
His elastic powers, designed for both Duelist-style attacks and a tankier approach, are proving a challenge to master. However, his ability to contort his body into bizarre shapes has made him a prime target for comedic interpretations.
Many players have drawn comparisons to One Piece's Monkey D. Luffy, highlighting the inherent comedic potential of his Elastic Strength. This has even inspired the modding community to create custom One Piece skins, despite NetEase's recent crackdown on modding. The sheer goofiness of his rubbery physique is a major source of amusement. While it remains to be seen if Mister Fantastic will become a long-term fan favorite, his debut has undoubtedly been memorable. The Thing and Human Torch are slated to join the roster in the latter half of Season 1, promising even more exciting (and potentially hilarious) additions to the Marvel Rivals cast.
