Marvel Snap's Legacy Season: New Captain America, Characters, and Locations!
This month's Marvel Snap season focuses on legacy, introducing Sam Wilson as the new Captain America and shaking up gameplay. The update includes a fresh roster of characters, new locations, and collectible albums.
Sam Wilson's arrival brings a unique mechanic: Captain America's Shield. This indestructible item starts each match in a random location and boosts Sam's power by +2 when it's in his location. Players can strategically move the Shield across the board, adding a new layer of tactical depth.
February will see a steady stream of new characters joining the fray. Joaquín Torres arrives on February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on the 11th. Redwing joins on the 18th, and Diamondback concludes the month on the 25th. These Series 5 cards will be available through the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache.
Two exciting new locations are also introduced:
- Smithsonian Museum: Boosts Ongoing abilities by +1 Power per card.
- Madripoor: Increases the Power of the highest-cost card by +2 after each turn.
These locations encourage diverse deck-building strategies, adding a fresh challenge for players. Check out our updated Marvel Snap tier list for optimal character rankings!
Collectors will also appreciate the new albums arriving in February. The Viktor Farro album (February 4th) includes rewards like a Darkhawk variant and collector's tokens. The Lemon Fashion album (February 25th) offers exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content. Get ready for a season of legacy and exciting new additions to Marvel Snap!
