Marvel Studios Announces Reduced Content for Upcoming

Marvel Rivals Season 1: A Double-Sized Launch with the Fantastic Four!

Get ready for a massive start to Marvel Rivals! Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, boasts double the content of a typical season. This expanded offering is due to the developers' decision to introduce the Fantastic Four as a group, rather than individually.

This supercharged season includes:

  • Three new maps: Explore iconic New York City locations – the Sanctum Sanctorum (available at launch, featuring the new Doom Match game mode), Midtown (for Convoy missions), and Central Park (details to be revealed later).
  • The Fantastic Four's arrival: Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and Invisible Woman (Strategist) debut with Season 1, with The Thing and Human Torch joining the fray in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks later.

The developers confirmed the increased content in a recent Dev Vision video, highlighting the excitement of launching the Fantastic Four simultaneously. While the impact of this oversized season on future content release schedules remains unclear, it's currently anticipated that two new heroes or villains will be added per subsequent season.

While the absence of Blade in Season 1 disappointed some fans, the abundance of new content and the potential for future appearances of this popular character keep anticipation high. Stay tuned for more updates from NetEase Games!
