Monster Hunter Wilds: February Open Beta Extends Hunting Opportunities
A second open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for the first two weeks of February, offering a fresh chance to experience the game before its official launch on February 28th, 2025. This follows the successful first beta test.
New Monster and Content Awaits
The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This iteration includes new content absent from the initial beta, most notably the addition of the Gypceros, a familiar foe from the series.
Carryover and Rewards
Character data from the first beta can be carried over to the second and subsequently transferred to the full game. However, game progress will not be saved between beta sessions. Participants will receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a special bonus item pack to aid early game progression.
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto cited player requests for a second beta as the reason for this extension. While post-launch improvements are underway, they won't be included in this beta.
Prepare for the hunt! Monster Hunter Wilds arrives February 28th, 2025.
