He is undoubtedly the chosen one! Fans have finally been treated to their first look at Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man in the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie, which has just completed production.
The film's official social media channels unveiled a photo on June 15 showing Galitzine in full costume as the iconic hero, though his back is turned and the scene is shrouded in shadow—keeping an air of mystery intact. The accompanying caption shared official updates straight from the set, confirming that Galitzine wrapped filming along with a personal message from the actor.
"And that's a wrap on Masters of the Universe. It has been an absolute honor to shoulder the mantle of playing both Adam and He-Man," he shared enthusiastically. "This has been the role of a lifetime—I poured my everything into it. While there isn't much I can reveal just yet, I'm incredibly proud of the film we've created. A huge thank you to our amazing cast and crew for their tireless efforts."
It’s clear Galitzine dedicated immense effort and commitment to the role. Earlier this year, the actor shared insights into his demanding physical training. "I'm consuming around 4,000 calories a day, but given the intense physical workload," he told W magazine, "I still end the day hungry—which has been surprising."
Galitzine plays Prince Adam of Eternia, along with his heroic alter ego, He-Man. He is joined by a stellar cast including Camila Mendes, Allison Brie, Jared Leto, and Idris Elba. Directed by Bumblebee filmmaker Travis Knight and written by ParaNorman scribe Chris Butler, the movie is slated for release next summer.
