Where to Farm Warped Wire in NieR: Automata

Warped Wire is a rare drop from stacked bipedal machines. These aren't particularly challenging foes, but their infrequent spawns make farming necessary. The most reliable location is a section of the desert accessible via the Desert Camp fast travel point.

Head towards the main desert area. Before reaching the open expanse, you'll traverse mountainous terrain, following a pipe through some ruins. This area consistently spawns multiple stacked bipedal machines.

Focus on the two small clearings near the ruined buildings. The machines here are predominantly the stacked variant you need. Warped Wire has a decent drop rate; expect one or two per clearing. Equipping a Drop Rate Up plug-in chip significantly accelerates this process.
