According to the debut trailer, *Ninja Gaiden 4* promises to be an action-packed slasher with the iconic ninja Ryu Hayabusa at the helm. The game introduces innovative mechanics, such as the ability to swiftly navigate using wires and rails, a feature highlighted in the gameplay trailer.
The developers have placed a strong emphasis on the game's setting—a cyberpunk city drenched in toxic rain. Players will confront waves of modified soldiers and eerie otherworldly creatures as they strive to break an ancient curse that plagues the megacity.
In addition to *Ninja Gaiden 4*, the presentation unveiled a comprehensive remaster of *Ninja Gaiden 2*. Already released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, it's now part of the Game Pass catalog. Team Ninja has utilized Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) for this remaster, completely revamping character models, visual effects, and landscapes. The remaster also incorporates elements from more recent series entries, including three new playable characters.
