A few thousand players will be able to test new Battlefield features

Author : Samuel Update:Feb 20,2025

EA unveils Battlefield Labs, a closed beta testing program for upcoming Battlefield titles. This internal test offers select players a sneak peek at core gameplay mechanics and concepts, some of which may not make the final cut. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Conquest and Breakthrough modes will be available for testing. Initial phases will prioritize evaluating combat and destruction mechanics, followed by balance adjustments.

Pre-registration is open for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A limited number of players (a few thousand) will receive invitations in the coming weeks, with plans for broader regional expansion later.

The new Battlefield is currently in a crucial development phase, according to the developers. No official release date has been announced. Development is a collaborative effort between four studios: DICE, Motive Studios, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect Studios.
