Pokémon Go's February Community Day: Double the Fun with Karrablast and Shelmet!

Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! February's Community Day is bringing a double feature, focusing on Karrablast and Shelmet. The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Spotlight Pokémon:

Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing much more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of catching these Pokémon, including their shiny variants. The real excitement lies in their evolutions.

Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack, Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).

Special Research and Timed Research:

Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows the main event, providing further opportunities to encounter these Pokémon with the unique backgrounds. Simply log in during Community Day to unlock these tasks.
