Pokémon Go rings in 2025 with a New Year's event! Niantic is kicking off the new year with festivities, leading into Fidough Fetch and the Sprigatito Community Day. But before that, players can enjoy the Eggs-pedition Access pass.
Available from January 1st to 31st for $4.99, the Eggs-pedition Access pass significantly boosts your Pokémon journey. Enjoy increased Gift storage (up to 40), daily Gift opening limits (up to 50), and a generous 150 Gifts from spinning Photo Discs. Check out the event trailer below!
New Year's 2025 Event Details:
The Pokémon Go New Year's 2025 event runs from December 30th, 2024, at 10:00 am to January 1st, 2025, at 8:00 pm. While there are no new Pokémon, Shiny variants, or costumes, the event still offers plenty of festive fun.
Expect increased wild spawns of special Pokémon: Ribbon Jigglypuff, New Year's Hoothoot, and Party Hat Wurmple (all with boosted Shiny rates). Event bonuses include 2,025 XP for Excellent Throws and celebratory fireworks.
Raids feature festive Pokémon too: Snowflake Beanie Pikachu (Tier One raids) and Party Hat Raticate and Wobbuffet (Tier Three raids), all with increased Shiny odds. Don't forget to check Field Research tasks and PokéStop Showcases for additional themed encounters.
