Project U: Ubisoft’s Mysterious Co-op Shooter Gets Leaked Intro Video

Ubisoft's unannounced Project U has had a turbulent journey. Gameplay leaks, starting in 2022 following closed beta testing, resurfaced in 2024, hinting at the project's ongoing development. Now, following a reported development reboot, an introductory cinematic has leaked online.

The cinematic's authenticity remains unconfirmed, shared by gaming leaker Shaun Weber, known for his history of revealing unreleased game content. Weber suggested further Project U leaks are possible if development continues.

Project U is anticipated to be a session-based co-op shooter, inspired by the success of Helldivers 2. The leaked footage depicts an alien invasion of Earth, with players assuming the roles of humanity's defenders against this extraterrestrial threat.

Ubisoft has yet to officially announce Project U or provide a release date.
