The excitement for the 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) is palpable as the tournament kicks off, marking the first international PUBG Mobile Esports event of the year. With over 90,000 registered competitors, the Open Qualifiers, which started on February 13th, offer a golden opportunity for new talent to make their mark and secure a spot in the PMGO Main Event.

With a staggering $500,000 prize pool at stake, teams are gearing up to showcase their skills through multiple rounds, eventually challenging established PUBG Mobile Esports organizations. This tournament is exclusively open to amateurs, spotlighting fresh talent and providing them with a platform to shine.

Teams boasting at least one player ranked in the Ultimate 500 during Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21 have already advanced to Round 2 of the Open Qualifiers. Over the coming weeks, emerging squads will fiercely compete for a chance to advance to the PMGO Prelims, where they'll face off against the top teams from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.

An additional four teams will join them from various regional competitions, including the PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.

The Open Qualifiers will continue until March 2nd, followed by the Prelims on April 10th-11th, leading into the thrilling Main Event scheduled for April 12th-13th.
